Ethernet wasn't working correctly before I upgraded, I thought it might fix it. The ethernet no longer shows up in the network and sharing centre and is listed as an unknown device in the device manager.
When I try to manually install the drivers(straight from the msi website made for win10) it takes forever and this comes up saying there was a problem installing the driver software to my device.
I have tried installing the killer network program but that doesn't seem to install the drivers since it does not appear in the sharing center.

- Do you get any error code or error message on installing the drivers?
- Did you check if the drivers are located in Device manager?
Method 1: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if any of the hardware components is missing or corrupted on the computer.
- Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type troubleshooter and select the top most search result.
- Click on View all from left side panel of the screen.
- Select Hardware and Devices, click on Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically option.
- Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the troubleshooting to complete.
- After troubleshooting is completed, check the status of the troubleshooter shown on the window.
Method 2: If the issue persists, check if the network drivers are located under Network adapters in Device manager on the computer.
